Introducing....

MacKenzie Rose Armstrong...Hope's very 1st cousin. She already loves her very much! She loves to help Aunty change her diaper and as you can see she even likes to read to MacKenzie! She might have sat on her by accident during story time :0)

Wedding Dancer

Hope LOVED the blues band at Uncle Derek and Aunty Holly's wedding. She didn't want to get off the dance floor...and this was during cocktail hour! She even sat on the stage!!!!

Finally...

the sun is shining in Boston and we can have some beach time! Hope is a total beach bum!!!! She liked her chair for a few minutes and then tried to sit in Mom chair, which wasn't so successful.

Haircut

This time we are talking about mom's haircut! Mommy donated nine inches of her hair a couple weeks ago...we were afraid Hope wouldn't recognize me, but it didn't even phase her!

which is why I haven't posted anything recently...I am too busy chasing Hope around! She is so happy that she can walk now!!! Sorry that it is sideways...don't know how to fix that. Anyone have any suggestions?

Hope The One Year Old

Let me just start out by saying I can not believe we have a one year old. This year has gone by so fast!!! We are so blessed to have such a sweet baby in our lives!!!!! We love her more and more each day.

Here are her stats:
19 lbs 12 oz (26th percentile)
28 1/4 inches (21st percentile)
and of course her head 47.7 cm (98 percentile shocking!)

I think she is not going to get her daddy's height unfortunately.

Here are some photos from her birthday party. She wasn't exactly feeling so great for her party. She woke up with a fever of 103.5..She was out of sorts but was still a trooper. I am happy to say that she wasn't too into the cake either. (Could be the fact that I made it and it wasn't that good!)

Hope really got into helping out at our rental property this weekend. She has a better handle with the paintbrush this time. We are still in negotiations with her agent about her hourly wage!

First Turkey Day

Hope had a fun Thanksgiving Day in Marshfield. Crazy "Aunt" Julie took loads of pictures of Hope. Here are a few of our favorites. New tricks...she loves to clap and ring the bell ornament that Pop bought her. Still no crawling, which makes us happy since we don't have any baby gates yet!

First Time Apple picking

We headed up to NH to go apple picking with Aunty Tara, Uncle Kevin, Kristy, Johanna, and Kieren. Hope had a great time. She especially loved the pumpkin patch. In another development she got her first tooth two days after she turned 7 months!

First time in the North End

I worked very hard today painting in the North End so I deserved a much needed nap in my new carrier with my mommy :)

Six Months

At six months Hope had her first "official" haircut at Salon Capri. She also has been eating lots of new foods..sweet potato, banana, avacado, pear, and oatmeal. She is flipping over in bed so we had to get rid of the swaddle blanket. Sitting on her own is her favorite activity. She weight 14lbs 8 oz which is only the 18 percentile so we need to feed her more! She is 26 1/2 inches which is 72 percentile and yes her head is still enormous (96 percentile)!!!

Mike Boucher really captured some great Hope expressions the other day. The one is her new teething face or as we like to refer to it as her "Mr Magoo" face!

Here are her new stats: 12 lbs 10 oz (25 percentile); 24 3/4 inches (65 percentile) and yes she still has a big head (85 percentile) She had more shots but was a trooper. Dad scooped her right up and she stopped crying.

Hope enjoyed her time in Utah for Pop's 60th birthday. She went on her first ski lift and train ride. She didn't love the plane ride so much on the way home. We are now that couple that people role their eyes at when they see us coming.

First ....

At only 3 months old, Hope had her first haircut. It was getting so long in the back it was making her hot and getting stuck in her buttons on her outfits. (not to mention that it was starting to look like a mullet!) I apologize to Grandma D ...I didn't do that good of a job. She is waiting for her personal hair stylist to come visiting to give her a real haircut!
